The Thermal-Ply Radiant Barrier is designed to complement the protection of our cedar houses. It provides protection from both the extremes of winter and summer. Thermal-Ply blocks radiant energy in both summer and winter conditions. It blocks as much as 93% of radiation (summer heat gain) and 50% to 70% of winter heat loss through the ceiling and roof. The floor, ceiling and side walls are all insulated. To ensure long term durability from chewing and clawing, a lightweight mahogany plywood liner protects the ceiling and sidewall insulation. When this option is ordered, the Thermal-Ply Insulation is pre-installed into the panels of the house. No additional assembly of the insulation is required. Available only with the Cedar Pet Houses. Not available with the Pine Pet Houses.

The Platform is constructed of Western Red Cedar and assembled with galvanized screws. The space under the Platform can be used for sheltering food dishes, litter boxes, or other outdoor items. The platform comes assembled with the exception of sliding the legs into the four corners and inserting screws in the predrilled holes. Easy assembly required. Available only with the Pine Cat House, Small Pine Pet House and Small Cedar Pet House.

The Platform and Loft kit creates an additional level of fun for those pets that just can't seem to get high enough. The lower Platform raises the Cat House 16" off the ground, and the upper Loft sits a few inches above the roof of the house. The Loft deck provides a spacious area for your pets to observe the world from a higher vantage point. It also serves as a prominent leisure area from which to play with your pets without bending over. The Platform and Loft are constructed of Western Red Cedar and assembled with galvanized screws. The pressure treated legs will never rot. The space under the Platform can be used for sheltering food dishes, litter boxes, or other outdoor items. Both the Platform and Loft are fully assembled. All you need to do is insert the legs into the platform, insert screws into pre-drilled holes, set the Cat House into place, and attach the loft on top. Available only with the Pine Cat House, Small Pine Pet House and Small Cedar Pet House.
