Cat Lover's Welcome Plaque
These beautiful Welcome Plaques are hand-made by New England artists from the best quality Vermont
pine. They are called Overboards because they fit wonderfully over doors, entrances, etc. both inside
and outside your house. They make wonderful gifts and welcome additions to your own household.
Pardon the poor photogragh. There are faces of 3 cats on the plaque. The 3 cat faces are raised a bit
from the darker background around them. Then the outer wood is a lighter oak color, and the edge is green.
Below the 3 cat faces is the phrase "Love, laughter and friends are always welcome here".
The designs start with an artist's sketch and then are refined into fine drawings. The designs
are etched and hand-carved into the wood one at a time, and then a hand-rubbed stain is applied to each
one to enhance the natural grain of the wood.
