Cat House

Dear Angelical Cat,

My cat Spunky loves his "fort", (F15). He spends many hours a day in it, and no longer scratches the couch corner. He scratches the perfect sisal post in front. He is 19 lbs and never makes it wobble. The sisal is all shredded and unraveling, I was wondering if it could be replaced. My husband is pretty handy with tools, is it possible to replace the post? Or would I be better off buying some rope somewhere and winding it around and nailing it to the existing post?

Thanks!
Marie Mark

Note: We do offer natural, untreated sisal rope.

Sorry it's taken me so long, but our cats just love the cat tree! I've attached a photo of "Fulton" our coastal kitty (we found him @ a restaurant along the Texas coast).

Dear Robin,

here are a couple of pictures of the kitties enjoying their new cat tree. There's always some disagreement as to who gets to be in the basket on top. Misha is the girl and the older one, and this time, she won out. Midnight (the black one) is the younger one. He's a boy and he has vaccine-associated sarcoma, a very aggressive cancer caused by vaccinations (in his case, it was a rabies vaccination). If you look closely, you can still see the radiation field on his right shoulder (the fur is lighter and still quite a bit thinner).

The kitties said to tell you that they really enjoy their cat tree and that they use it every day.

Best regards,

Ulrike Lieder

Dear Gentlepeople:

I'm compelled to write this letter so that you are aware of how pleased I am with the cat tree as shown in the November 1999 issue of "Catnip". I'm glad that I researched before I purchased and the ratings as shown in the news are really very helpful in determining what best suits one's needs.

I can only say that my kitty took to it right away and enjoys climbing and sleeping on it tremendously. In other words, he spends a good deal of time using it and I am so glad he does. It makes the purchase worthwhile and although he is still a kitten I don't think he will ever outgrow it.

I am also pleased with the construction and the fact that you give a color choice of carpet.

Sincerely,

Eleanor C. D'Annolfo

Hi folks -- I am delighted with my two F-15's. The oval bed in each F-15 is being used quite regularly. Of my four cats that have access to the beige one in the living room, the three males have used the oval bed, and two of them are using the carpeted and the sisal posts for scratching. Mama, my only female, is small and shy, and it may take her awhile to venture into the oval bed, but she has explored the base. In his own room is Tom, my FIV positive kitty. He took to his F-15 immediately, and spends hours on end in the oval bed -- sleeping, grooming, observing out his screen door; and he prefers the carpeted post to scratch on.

Many thanks for such a great product!

Sincerely,

Patty Laswick

I just received my cat tree and Molly, our Ragdoll, just loves it. Before I could get it out of the carton, she was in the bed. She loves climbing the post to the bed.

I just wanted to thank you for such a great product.

Dear Robin,

Just wanted to let you know that the cat tree arrived. It is well made and looks very nice. My cat has not left the tree since it arrived and is now fast asleep on the top bed.

Best Regards,

Petra Nass

Dear Angelical:

Thanks you for a fabulous product. When the Contemporary Small Cat Tree (F15) arrived, my two young cats immediately explored it, and soon they abandoned the furniture and used the tree exclusively for scratching.

Jenny, the older cat, claimed the platform at the top first, and thoroughly marked it by rubbing her cheek on the edges, while Diana reached up with delight and used her claws on the sisal post. Eventually Jenny came down and used the carpet post to stretch her full length and work on her claws.

This is the first piece of cat furniture that I've ever purchased that any of my cats over more than 20 years have liked and used. The tree really is stable, as promised. I am enjoying watching the feline antics as much as they love the tree. Thank you for a quality product - I plan to be a lifetime customer!
