Dear Robin,
Just as promised, the cat tree arrived on Monday. We have five cats and because of a
workman in the house, they were hiding in the basement for sometime after it arrived. After
he left, they slowly came back upstairs. It was hysterical they way they eyed this new object
in the house, craning their necks up to see the top, especially if one of the cats was sitting
on the top part at the time.
One of our cats, Cary Grant, believed the first thing he should do is check out how tight the carpeting is attached. He attacked it and really clawed at the poles, with much more
vigor than he ever went after the old, shorter, cat tree. I thought, "Boy, if I had tried to
save some money by building my own, he probably would have ripped the carpeting right off the
post--just a couple of hours after we set it up."
In the two days since, they have been getting more familiar with it. We are sure it's
going to be a big hit.
I took a couple of pictures Monday night and likely will take more. It may take a few
weeks to finish the roll, but if any shots look decent, I'll be glad to send you the second
print.
Thanks for everything,
Derek Barth

Hi, my name is Joy Slothower. I just received Calliope's F12B today. Since there are
just two of us ladies in the condo, we haven't yet been able to move it from the entryway to
her favorite window.
I read your "Cat Back Guarantee." Calliope is 8 and not feeling up to par, has the
beginning of arthritis in her spine and has a liver inflammation. To make a long story short,
I picked her up out of her bed and introduced her to it with it still in the entryway.
Later, I was looking for her (assuming she was hiding from her daily dose of medication).
I looked all over the condo and finally wandered into the darkened entryway. Yes, Calliope
was in the perch on top, hunkered down in her new "bed" asleep. I don't think we'll be using
the Cat Back Guarantee on this one. It's hers and she knows it.
Thank you so much. It was well worth the wait.
