Dear Alan,
Cleopatra's tree arrived on Friday. If you remember, you shortened the distances between
perches for her on an F04 model. I showed her a few times how to get from the lowest half
tunnel to the next perch and on to the second regular perch and on up to the large oval bed.
Cleo's must have been severely abused and/or injured by whatever owner turned her out into
the 90degree heat last summer. When I found her under my vehicle, she was severely dehydrated,
emaciated, and near death. She'd been declawed so could not even catch small prey. She's made
a remarkable recovery but cannot jump because of injury or short-circuited brain function. She
pulls herself up onto any higher surface. This very loving, special needs cat now has her very
own tree.
After we'd had a few lessons, I left her on the floor to explore her new toy and to decide
what she wanted to do with it. Each time I looked in at her she was in a different part of the
tree!! I was thrilled to see she could negotiate the climb to each of the higher perches.
The 8-foot tree sits in the great room and has drawn quite a number of compliments
especially when all the cats are in residence there. One more and each cat will have its own
tree!! This latest one is tree number six from Angelical Cat and we love each of them. So do
Binky, Clarissa, Lily, Rodney, Julie and Kirstie.
It goes without saying that we are extremely satisfied with the quality of the construction and the beauty of their shapes. The conversations I have had with you and your wife about these selections has been most pleasant and informative. We appreciate all your care in the construction of each of our purchases. Now I'm off to plan tree number 7!!!
Best regards,
Fred and Jacquie Betz
