We have developed the following guidelines for selecting the right tree:
Absolutely, every line of furniture we offer is cat friendly. It is easy to step up and down from level to level – cats do not have to climb the posts.
Please see the Carpet Color Chart and Carpet Color note at Carpet Color Selections. Due to the logistics involved in moving large numbers of trees, we do not attend cat shows.
At this time we sell only direct via our catalog and website, not to stores or distributors.
Most of our products are hand-made to order, and built one at a time. Shipping times are posted at "Current Ship Times".
No, but we hope we’ve provided enough options in each product line to satisfy the most finicky of felines.
Yes, but only as long as the substitution does not interfere with the stability of the tree, or the stair-step friendliness of the tree. The allowed substitutions available on each tree are listed on the product page for the individual tree. The most frequent substitutions include replacing a single pagoda with a double pagoda, replacing a round bed with an oval bed, and replacing a top perch with an oval bed. Yes. Our trees were designed to accommodate even the largest breeds such as Maine Coons. All our components will hold up to 200 pounds, and the entrance holes are big enough for cats that weigh up to 24 lbs. The following pictures may help to show the size and strength of our perches. Alyssa, our young model in these photos, weighs 28 pounds and is 35 inches long:
Our trees are so sturdy, they will hold a panther without tipping or wobbling! The picture

Yes. Sisal rope is a wonderful scratching surface for cats because it is natural and extremely durable. Common thicknesses are 1/8-inch, 1/4-inch and 3/8-inch. Obviously, thicker rope will last longer than thinner rope. We use 3/8-inch Sisal Rope. There is also untreated Sisal Rope and oil-coated Sisal Rope. The oil-coated Sisal costs less, but may be harmful to cats. This is why we use only natural untreated sisal. Your cat's health and safety are our first concern. The short answer is that not all cat furniture is made the same. A great deal of thought, quality, and time has been expended to ensure that Angelical Cat Furniture is the highest-quality, and safest for your cat. For example: Many companies depend on their products to wear out in order to get repeat business. This is called "planned obsolescence". In contrast, we depend on our products to last. And they do. For years. We get a lot of referral business because of the quality and lifespan of our trees. A less expensive, and lower quality tree will often have to be replaced in a year or two. A top-quality Angelical Cat Company tree will last five to ten years, and very often longer. Over the long run, quality is the best buy.
