Abandoned Pet Rescue is a non-profit organization, dedicated to rescuing and fostering abandoned pets and placing them in loving homes. Founded in 1996, Abandoned Pet Rescue gives medical attention to injured and sick animals, educates the public about responsible pet ownership and reduces the feral cat population through a rescue/neuter/adoption program. Abandoned Pet Rescue is an all volunteer, 501 (C)(3) not for profit organization dedicated to rescuing and fostering abandoned pets and placing them in loving homes. Each year, millions of animals die in shelters because they are unwanted. In just seven years, one female cat and her offspring, left unattended, can produce 420,000 cats. Abandoned Pet Rescue is making a difference....during the past 2 years, Abandoned Pet Rescue has rescued over 400 cats and dogs from the streets and saved them from euthanasia and more than 350 animals have been adopted out to loving homes. Funds and auction items are needed by APR so that it can continue to rescue and provide for homeless and abandoned pets. Funds that are raised go towards purchasing food and medical supplies. Funds are also being raised to purchase a mobile adoption unit and to construct a permanent sanctuary for those pets no longer wanted or adoptable. Please help in any way that you can.
